ParallelsParallels Workstation is one of those so called “virtualization” applications (if you know what is VMware, this is “same sh!t different package” D ). In short this program allows you to install different OS (operating system) side-by-side on your main OS. For example if you’re running WinXP you can install some of Linux editions (Ubuntu for example) or vice versa. EMBRACE has released two editions of this, one for Windows users and other for Linux users. If you’re new to this virtualization stuff, you can read more about it on wiki. Personally i prefer VMware instead, but we all have different tastes.

Description:

Use Windows? Like Linux? Have it all on a single PC.
Parallels Workstation is an easy-to-use, easy-on-the-pocket solution that lets you run Windows, Linux and more side-by-side on a single PC without rebooting.

Truly revolutionary, Parallels Workstation empowers users of any skill level – including computer professionals, sales executives and home users – to easily run multiple operating systems on a single computer. Completely networked. Stable. Secure.
