The process of removing Windows Genuine protection is shown on English version of Microsoft windows XP. In case you would be so kind to make the same looking screenshots on your another version of MS windows, we would be more than happy to share it with our visitors

So now we know what’s Windows Genuine Advantage. This protection consits of few files, which check your installation of windows, whether it’s legitimate or not. They are

• LegitCheckControl.DLL
• WgaLogon.dll
• WgaTray.exe

So we have two libraries (.DLL) and one binary executable file (.EXE). The simples way to get rid of this protection? Just overwrite them! There are clever crackers around the world, which are capable of removing some product key checks. Why not to use their hard work and then just copy these “cracked” files over the original ones, huh?

Ok, we need to download these cracked files first. Because there are regular updates of WGA, you must be always sure you are downloading the latest version of this. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have any effect.

These three files are quite small, they have something like 1 MB together. So it’s really not a problem to download them. We recommend www.NewTorrents.info for doing so, because they have all required releases without any additional viruses or crap and always enough seeders.

You will need some BitTorrent client for this. In case you don’t have it, we strongly suggest installing uTorrent, it’s simple BitTorrent client with all required functions.

Ok, client is installed and everything is ready. Now go to NewTorrents.info and type in “genuine” in the search box at the top of the page (without qoutes).

Few versions of Windows Genuine Protection should appear, so click on [dl] link at the newest one. You can also use this link.

It should now open uTorrent with some information about this file. Just click on OK and wait few moments till it shows 100%. Downloaded.

Now go to C:\Downloads (or any other path if you altered it to something else) and you will find the downloaded directory here.

It should have name “Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.5.708.0.CRACKED-ETH0″ (or some other in case of newer/older version). Go into the directory and you will see few files.

Updates: latest version is Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.5.723.1.CRACKED-ETH0. Downloadable also from here.

The important one for you is the one with .RAR extension (e-wga157080c.rar in our case). You need to unpack this file to new folder (or the same one) using WinRAR. It’s widely spread application so you shouldn’t have any problems with this.

Good, we are almost there!

Now you have a new directory with unpacked archive. This Directory should contain 3 or 4 files listed on previous pages. The fourth file may be some installer, in our case it’s “installer.bat”.

All instructions are written in NFO file, but you don’t have to read it – we did this for you.

To disable these annoying warnings, you must overwrite the original libraries in your System32 folder. Huh, wait, what the hell is that? Okey, it’s simple: it’s a system folder stored in your Windows installation directory. The usual path for this folder is C:\windows\System32 – almost every user should have it like that, unless he changed something during installation.

The problem is, that these files are loaded in the momery, and dispay this icon on the taskbar. So you can’t normally overwrite them. But here’s the small trick, and we know about it

A big final!

All you need to do, is kill the running proccesses, rename the files, and then copy the new ones on their place. This would be probably quite complicated for the most users, so we created a little batch file (.bat), which will do all the work for you. Greats, isn’t it?

You can download the file here in case it wasn’t between your files. Just save it in your computer, in the folder with these unpacked files you downloaded in Step 3, and then run it. The rest of “instructions” will appear there, all you have to do is to press twice some button on your keyboard. Hard work, huh.

Here’s how this batch file looks, but it’s nothing you should be interesetd about, unless you are a total geek who wants to modify it a bit. Just download and run it.

After you run this file, all you need to do, is to reboot your devil machine. You don’t have to hurry with this, finish your work without any stress and then just reboot it. Few seconds of surprise and then: Voil�, it’s gone !!
